Today is the first day of fall and we had a blast this summer!  We hope you all did too!  The hot days floating down the river in a comfortable tube with a cold drink are soon to be over until next year.  But we are excited about the beautiful fall foliage that will soon line the river banks with pops of red, orange, and yellow.  A canoe trip during this time is just as much fun so don’t hesitate to plan a fall trip!

It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.” We wish everyone a wonderful and well rested Labor Day!

The 1968 Wild and Scenic River Act designated portions of the Little Miami National Scenic River as Ohio’s first National Wild and Scenic River. On April 23 of following year, the Little Miami State Scenic River from Milford to the headwaters became Ohio’s first State Scenic River, due to legislation that predated the national act by a few months.^[11] The remainder of the river was added to the State Scenic River in 1971.^[12]

It’s officially the beginning of the river sports weather!  Too bad that the water levels are too high Saturday and Sunday but we anticipate that Monday May 26 should be just fine!  Come down and see us, it’s our Grand Opening!!
